A long flight homeby ~RicSimane

This was a long flight for this little gryphon. He started his flight 5 years ago and today he finally reached his destiny. Caring a magical ball of... something to... somebody... He can finally rest and receive his prise

I can say this is a collab between me and

. It was her old sketch she started in 2006. She drew only the head of the gryphon and some lines. A few months ago I found this in her portfolio and asked her could I finish it. And so here we have it! My finish of this cute drawing. I tried to simulate her style in traditional art but it's hard to be as good as a master xD.

This was quite hard. As usually I tried to draw something that's just to difficult to me and I'm not sure with the result. The wings were a nightmare with my intention to draw them with a perspective shortness. I've also wanted to draw soft clouds emerging behind the rocks covering the trees in the background but it probably doesn't look good. It's hard to do this without colors. At least I tried...

Udany collab. Trochę powiększyłabym mu klatkę piersiową, ale poza tym wyszło super (zwłaszcza skrzydła). Delikatnie zaznaczone tło dodaje rysunkowi głębi.
